Tenby Museum and Art Gallery

Tenby Museum and Art Gallery is the oldest independent museum in Wales, having been established in 1878, whose predominant theme is to tell the story of Tenby and surrounding area through prehistory, social history and art.   There are five main galleries including two impressive art galleries, one of permanent works by Gwen and Augustus John, David Jones, John Piper, Kyffin Williams, Meirion Jones and Nicky Wire of the Manic Street Preachers and many other important artists.  The second art gallery has regularly changing exhibitions in various media, many of which are selling shows.
